The new Xbox 360 Dashboard looks gay...

Why is Microsoft screwing their hardcore fans for little kids and old people? You can't tell me that Microsoft isn't trying to rip-off the Wii. The Blade Interface was my favorite Dashboard. It looked nice and made tasks easy. Now I get some grey and white cartoon wii avatars and some text in the top left corner...yay...thats not like the Wii at all now is it?

Speaking of that, Isn't Nintendo on today at 1 PM?

Oh yea I was like WTF! when they announced GTA. But overall nintendo really didn't release any hardcore games. Yet the Wii music looks pretty interesting and the sword fight. I also wanna know when their going to release other colors of the console like they advertised when it launched. Oh well Sony is up next.

I was quite disappointed with Nintendo`s press conference, I wanted Kid Icarus, Kirby, Starfox, Pikmin, but all I get is Animal Crossing, and Wii music (which I have never cared about.)

I`m glad I am getting a 360 very soon, cause this casual crap is getting f******* annoying.

That lady that spoke at the Press conference had the most annoying voice ever and she talked like a damned elementery school teach.

They ruined the COD:WAW with the zapper.
Showed no GTA:China town wars, I bet it will be 2d, overhead view which I absolutely hated and was already on the GBA.

Microsofts press conference sucked too, but at least they had hardcore games.

Sony`s better be good, or this E3 will officially be the worst in history.

So I wasn't the only one to notice that. I am no pokemon fanatic, but when she pronounced it pokey-mon it irked me. I mean really, you only work for the company.

So far the only thing even remotely interesting at this E3 has been the 360 version of FF13. But even that, I think, was muted by all the casual type of stuff that MS was putting forth. I really hope that Sony has some huge announcement to rival the FF13 like 'available next week: trophy updates for a half dozen games' or 'Home available for holidays.'

Yeah I cringed every time she said Pokey-mon, ughhh, Pokemon Ranger games are not even that good.

If Console gaming goes full on Casual I will officially switch to PC gaming, which I never thought I would do, but if Sony and M$ do the same thing Nintendo is doing, I will drop $500+ into building gaming rig.

Well Sony's press conference is coming up here in about 13min, so I am hopeful for something worthwhile being announced.

I was disappointed in the Nintendo conference. As everyone else mentioned, that woman was annoying as hell. They really need to start showing their commitment to the core gamers; we already know they support casual gaming, we need proof that they're working to provide that satisfaction, the core gamers.

nah, the casual gaming is just a new market. as with any new market, its being flooded. in a little while an equilibrium will be reached and casual gaming and core gaming will live happily side-by-side.
