If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

I'm not sure what you meant by that...
OK, using the multimeter I've found that I'm getting 12 volts at the red circle but nothing at the green circle which tells me that something isn't right in the powerboard.
is the power entering at the red? maybe you have a loose wire or cut trace leading to the board with the green spot. the polarity refers to positive voltage and negative (ground)
you said there were 2 "screw" connectors.. were they both black (usually) or was one red because then it needs to be attached to a positive power point
I am getting power through all 6 of the wires that run from the powerboard to mobo.
Sorry for the confusion. There are two sets of wires that come out of the side of the lcd (see bottom left of pic) They plug into the green circle. On the "fcc" cable there is tape wrapped around it with a wire (halfway up on right of pic) that screws to the left of the connection on the mobo.
I wish I knew what I was doing, thanks for the help so far.
