Weird printer problem.

I didn't notice it until today but I rarely use it. it only prints 1/3 of each page, than just stops...wtf?

did you tryed to change/reinsert the color cartridge?

try also make a little check and a little clean inside.

check aslo is some paper or any part is stuck inside

if you are using a parallel cable try unplug/plug again

I tried all of that. the document is 11 pages. this time it just printed out the first page then stopped.

it printed the first page partially? or full?

maybe it is only a bad config at the pc, try plug it at another computer and watch the results

Scrap if for parts. Lots of good stepper motors 'n gears 'n stuff in there.

Who needs a printer anyway? They're $50 if you REALLY need one.

(Actually, I'm sitting next to a $400 printer that pretty important for what I do, but I'm special!

)

Seriously though, that printer sounds pretty messed up; I wouldn't bother with trying to fix it.

Sounds like a driver issue. Reinstall the drivers or try it on another computer.

Sounds like the printer is working fine. I agree with bic. Driver issue. If its a really old printer and you are trying to send a huge pdf file you might be overloading its ram tho....

yes, you also said the first page is ok
so try one page per one slowly instead of print all togheter, if not try on other computer
