Could it have been the person trying to hack the site a while ago with the DevCast Forum? Maybe they tried to update it. Strange but a possibility.
I wonder if there is a way to log the IP address and information about a user or computer that changes the board scripts. What language do the boards use for programming? If it has similarities to BASIC, Linux, and/or C (+/++) then I may have enough resources and experiance available to make the file myself. It could be a self executing file that monitors the boards every 5 seconds or something (just so that your ISP doesnt lock you out for sending a barrage of requests).
Or, now that I think about it. Any time the basic stuff (like the script files and such) is altered, a program takes a ``snapshot`` of every user, computer, and such connected to the forums at that time. Giving id information so that you can later do a more extensive search trough whois. Or something. Sounds like fun.
