Soldering... :(

Im almost done modding, got to the controller and cut it up how i needed it, then i went to refix some of the circuit using wires but they wont solder onto the traces?! I removed the green so the copper is exposed but the solder wont bond with it:(

Any help would be appreciated...

I know just how ya feel, and here's the solution to your problem: put a little soldering flux on the traces, melt it using your iron, and then the solder should stick to the traces

I just hold the wires to the traces with a screw driver and solder them. It works, but it's fairly weak so you need to use hot glue

OR, follow the trace all the way to it's next connection, and patch off there...
