I need some help with the n64

I was just wondering if there was any way i could connect the psone screen without using the 1202 voltage regulator. I lost my multi-meter and I can't test any contacts on the n64 to see if it outputs anything close to 7.5 volts. Does anyone know if it's possible to do this? Or is there anyone willing to test any contacts out? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just use a 7.2v / 7.4v battery to power the PSone screen and N64 and a TI card to give the 3.3v for the N64 too.

I know this has been done successfully but running a electronic device straight off the batteries without any protection is very dangerous (especially the N64). Id use a 9V battery and use two Ti switching regulators to get the needed voltage. But thats just me.....
