Nuky's SNES Portable in the works

Well i have been working on this for a like 2 weeks now in my basement and this is my progress log. This is my SNES portable made using a zn-40 case.

before bondo

after bondo

front and back

inside back. i used push button switches for L and R.

front after priming

front after being painted and buttons added

back after being painted

This is the just the case, i havent started any wiring yet. i had wanted to start that soon but i hit a snag when i added the clear coat of paint so i had to sand down the front and repaint it. the back was fine with the clear coat but the front wasnt. i will update with more pics when i work on wiring.

thanks everyone. i was not sure about the blue at first but once it was painted it looked good. my brother said to leave the back gray but walmart didnt have any gray spraypaint for plastic so i got the next best thing. reminds me of the N64 controllers. just recently i have added a second controller port and the tv connector port. so im hoping to either start wiring the controller tonight or tomorrow. but i was wondering would having the second controller slot and the tv slot effect the voltage the system needs?

the buttons "l and r" on the back are kinda unsanded if you catch my drift.
on the next case or portable you do definitely take time to refine your case.

aside from that its sleek and the colors are very neat

ya i touched the L and R buttons up a little today because of how they looked

well i am finally starting on the wiring today but first here are a few new pics.

This is the inside of the back. I have labeled what each thing is.

This is the front complete.

The back is the same as shown before. I havent added the headphone or power ports yet but they will go on the opposite side of the 2nd player port.

well its been awhile sense my last update. With the help of my dad, i was able to get the cartridge slot wired in nicely.

I have added the LEDs to the screen but havent wired them to the screen motherboard. I am still having issues with getting the controller together. I dont know if another type of flux other then the liquid flux would help get the solder to stick to the traces. I know i have asked about that before but i still cant figure it out.
