Radica + Handheld TV + Cart Slot project.

Post by PapercutXero »

First of all, let me say that i'm new to this. Been wanting a portable megadrive for awhile, and was wondering if people here could help out with the technical side of things. Yeah, I want to make it myself, but i'm not too sure where to start!

The main thing that i'm wondering is what type of Handheld TV would be best for the project (preferably one I could mod into being the console's case.) and what would I wire/solder to where?

my first suggestion to you would to be to read the forums. all of these questions are already answered all throughout these pages in the forums.

Does the book have anything similar to the the project he calls the "Exodus" in it? That's generally the idea I was going for..

no, he doesn't cover his radica system. but, all the info is in these forums. look through the stickies. all the info is there.

but, the book does give excellent info on portabalizing in general. and how to hack portable tvs.
