my first time modding a system

i want to make my gamecube portable

Do you guys know how i would start and go about this? like lists of materials, links on the website with tutorials? thanks, sry if this is the wrong section or if im told to use the search function. :wink:

Push the search button, type in Gamecube, and get reading.

well.

*- you should have at least two controllers (you will need cut some parts of the controllers)

*- obiusly a gamecube (its recomendable have also another gc for if something get trouble)

*- a nintendo oficial unscrew (if you dont have, you can use the "BIC" method)

*- soldering tools

*- some tiny wire

*- a portable screen

*- somecasing methods (wood, plastic, metal.....)

*-polimeter/multimeter

*-obiusly a portable should be "portable", so you will need some battery pack


this is the very basic stuff you need, all info you need is at this site the only thing you need is patience ^^

okay thank you, how difficult would you say this is? being this is my first time doing this. Also, is their any specific components you would recommend.

mmm, it isn´t very difficult, but it take a few days.

the components you need depend of the size you want at your system.

before start you need do a little design of your project (a simple draw in paint will be enough)

if you dont have yet a custom idea for your project, why not watch all the portables posted at this forum?
