My problem is I can't get the solder to stick to the connections... I've been modding stuff for over 20 years but can't for the life of me understand why it's not letting me tin the connection points prior to connecting the wire. Should I be using fluxless solder or another type of solder altogether?
I got so frustrated I totally trashed the one joypad after trying for hours and getting nowhere.
Any suggestions (other than give up). All I want to do is add extra A,B,X,Y buttons on the bottom of the joypad. I thought it would be simple as pie... but as usual the hard things are easy and the easy things are impossible.
