Genesis cartridge pinout question

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Genesis cartridge pinout question

I dont understand something from this picture

On the cartridge side I see 2 pins (CE and OE) that have no matching connections on the rom.

Also on the rom I see 2 pins (ICE_L and IOE) that has no matching connection on the slot.

I am assuming that CE = ICE_L and OE = IOE. Is that correct.

yes ce is chip enable which alows the rom on the cart to run and i oe is output enable which alows gamesaves and writing to carts i think
