http://www.mp3playerstore.com/stuff_you ... -720TS.htm

the last one is way expensive so prob not.

the motherboard ill be using is an existing PDA motherboard its small and efficient but will it work????? the mother board is a tungsten c mobo its proceesor is an intel fit.

I already have a 400mhz intel and I think a 700mhz intel? processor but if i need a faster one suggest away i'll post concept pics soon

N64 emulators on the PC are poor, you get some games like Super Mario working perfectly, but not many; most have graphical glitches, slowdowns, poor framerate, stuttery sound; or just don't run at all. You can I believe buy a N64 controller with USB connection, no idea where I saw that but believe you can buy an adapter.

You are far far better making a portable with a proper N64 board.

Does P64 run on a PDA?

Also, Bacteria, you're really underestimating how good emulators are nowadays, P64 runs most of the games you throw at it near perfectly.

Perhaps they have improved somewhat recently, I haven't played an N64 emulator on a PC for well over a year now. P64 - is it the best one for emulating N64 games on a PC nowadays? I got to love the N64 when I first played Super Mario 64 on UltraHUE several years ago; then I bought the hardware and masses of the N64 games to play on original hardware!

N64 emulators are REALLY good these days. PJ64 is good, but they're charging people for the most recent version, version 1.7. I haven't tried 1.7 (i'm not gonna pay someone that isn't nintendo to play nintendo games), but 1.6 is still a great emulator that can play most games you throw at it (just make sure you have multiple graphical plugins-- especially glide64-- because different plugins work better for different games). For a Linux N64 emulator, go with Mupen64Plus. They just recently came out with a new version (within a couple months tops), that should run really nicely.

If one were looking to build a portable using an emulator, I would probably go with Linux as the operating system as its free, better performance for your hardware, and simple to write start-up scripts to make the emulator begin on startup.

Daedalus is what I use and it is awesome. It and P64 and theres a mod of mupen somewhere that is really good. Daedalus and the mupen mod run flawlessly on everything I've done with them.

that's probably the Mupen64Plus I mentioned. It is a branch mupen but not by the original authors. I haven't tried the newest version, but its supposed to be really good.

I don't see how anyone can legitimately try to sell an emulator, when the only reason a company like Nintendo may decide not sue is that there is no money changing hands; considering that to make an emulator the system needed backwards engineering, which is against Nintendo patents. Emulators should be free by their nature. UltraHUE got removed from the site within hours of release as Nintendo's lawyers got involved.

Replicate ShockSlayer's? Well, I wouldn't recommend replicating it, but I do encourage you to build a portable.
