power question (mobo+screen)

Post by kasar »

well, I´m using the gc regulator board reallocation,so I got easy access to those pins from the power board. my idea is connect directly my 12v screen to the power to the regulator board.

then the regulator board of the gc will power the GC and the screen at same time (dont know if the regulator board will support it)

the gc is arround 1,25 A (I think is that, i Readed it anywhere here)
and my screen is arround 1 A

the question is:

Can the regulator board, handle 2.25 A safetly? or I will need to get another regulator board to connect only the screen?

thanks guys

Ok, sorry for tryple post, and answer to myself.

I tested it today, and works fine ^^, so if anyone wants to add extra stuff to the board will be able (but I didn´t tryed up to 3 A , so be carefull)

those Gc regulator boards are small and usefull.
