What're yall doing for 4th of July? I plan on celebrating my country by blowing up part of it. Any more fun ideas?

I'll be working a 12 hour shift, with any luck they'll let me work more than that actually...holiday pay rocks, mandatory overtime for a month doesn't though :P

Probably watching fireworks with friends/girlfriend.
Or if that doesn't work out, I'll hang out with Triton, project_failure, etc.

Working. There's a show that day, all staff has to come in. Besides, I think my friends are going to all be with family.

Probably vegging out. We just had the Stars 'n Stripes festival here so in a way we've celebrated July 4th already. However if there are any of my friends who want to go out, I'd likely join them.

Wow, all you people working on a federal holiday, ouch. I get the day off, so I have a nice long weekend. I'll hopefully celebrate with some friends, have a barbecue or some such thing and play some volley ball.

I'll be in DC most of the day meeting with DARPA, and that night I'll watch the fireworks on The Mall. Doesn't get much more patriotic than that.

I hope that doesn't mean your a terrorist :(

My grandma, who died a few months ago, her birthday was on july 3rd. We'd go up there every year, so my whole family is going up and celebrating her birthday/the 4th.

During the summer I don't really plan that far ahead. Only thing I have even remotely thought about that was in the future was times when I was going to play D and D.
