bondo or expony putty

Ok so i got a zn-40 case and i dont know if i should use bondo or expony putty on the sides where the case goes down. If anyone has used a zn-40 case like the one that the user The Life of Brian, used can you tell me if i should cut the controller holes before or after i add the bondo or expony putty.

You mean epoxy putty right? Usually when people say bondo around here, they are referring to Bondo marine putty, which is modeling clay-like in texture and consists of two parts, the inside stuff and the outside stuff (yes, they are just stuff

). You cut/pinch/twist off the amount you want, kneed it together and then use it. HERE is a link to some. It is an epoxy putty. However, if you are referring to regular bondo (comes in a can, has bondo and hardener, used on cars and stuff) I would recommend epoxy putty. There are many kinds of epoxy putties very similar to the bondo marine putty (use it wet or dry, dries in like 5 minutes, for underwater use, etc) and all are alright choices. You could use regular car bondo if you wanted too (I think Triton does).
You should definitely bondo the sides before cutting any control holes, that way you know things line up. It was the first thing I did, and I assume probably Brian and anyone else also. By the way, this should be in the case construction forum, NOT the super nintendo forum. ok thanks for the help. i got 2 things of epoxy putty so i will use those then on the sides.
