Should I sell my wii?

As a Wii owner and a Linux user (down with microsoft!), I think i'm objective enough to say that I would prefer an XBOX 360 over the PS3

Negative_Creep, that was the most biased analysis of the two consoles I think I've ever seen.

The 360 has a nicer controller, it's online service is A THOUSAND TIMES better than that of the PS3, despite having to pay for it, and it's got games up the wazzoo. The PS3 is an MGS4 box. Oh, and if you hold out long enough and cry your lungs out, Square might end up keeping FFXIII exclusive. Maybe.

This is coming from a (before this generation) die-hard Sony lover who owned only a PS2 last generation and hated the old Xbox. Being a Nintendo fanboy from birth, though, I don't think you should sell your Wii. You'll end up being very disappointed with the decision after you see E3 this year. That being said, if you're going to buy a console other than the Wii, it's gotta be the 360. In two years or so, the PS3 might have as many great exclusives, but as of now, it doesn't even come close.

Or just do like I am, save your money, and get all three.

After being here for so long, you'd think you'd learn some sense of grammatic structure, or perhaps gain the ability to post something longer than a sentence or two.

The reason I say Negative_Creep's post is biased is because he's stated there are a few points to his argument which are widely refuted by the general public. For instance, everyone knows the PS3 online experience sucks, so why would you score it higher than Live? The controller, too. It's been criticized to kingdom come and back, not to mention it's the same goddamn controller from the PSX. Not saying it's a bad thing, but Microsoft has allowed their controller to evolve with the times, unlike Sony. The PS3 has plenty of things going for it, but not more than the 360 at this point in time.

I mean, I have the PS1 as my first 3D console, so I just grew up with it.

So? Take your Wiimote, turn it 90 degrees counterclockwise, and you basically have a NES pad. The 360 controller is basically the same as the Xbox S controller, therefore it must, too, be a pile of crap.

Personal Opinion, some people prefer something they are used to using since the PS1, and like Bic said, if it isn't broke, don't fix it.

Just by saying Thousands times better give the impression of bias, but I will agree with you on this.

The whole thing boils down to personal opinion anyway, stop fighting over which is better and just play your damned games.

woah, no need to bring the wii into this battle between 360 and PS3. Especially since the Wii has been sold-out since launch-- before Smash Bros. came out. The PS3, on the other hand, only just started moving off the shelves again when MGS4 released.

I know I know, I'm not calling the Wii a "Smash Box" I absolutlely love my Wii.

I was just comparing it to another biased opnion that I have seen floating around about the Wii.

Grandmasterjimmy, both systems are good in their own right. In the end it comes do to which one has the games you want to play, and only you can decide that.

Since this is turning into a flamefest I see no reason for the discussion to continue.
