Best methods to clean an electric guitar?

Well, I have a fender strat that needs a cleaning. I have all the strings off already, so I want to clean it before I restring it. What are some good ways to clean of the dirt and grim stuck in between the frets and the neck? And how about the pickups?

The neck: Pledge.
The frets: Rubbing Alcohol

Also, goo gone will work wonders.

As for the pickups, while all the strings are off take off the pickguard and clean underneath. It'll make cleaning the pickups easier too.
