Snes Controller board (fat snes)

Okay, here's a little story. I originally had a snes, but you know, with age things break so I won't go on and on about that. So I kept the cables, kept the controllers, threw the board out. Today I managed to find another snes board, but without the controller board, and since I threw mine out, I have no controller board. Is there a way for me to solder a controller directly to the pins of the connector? And if so, which pins?

I guess that's one way to go about it. Unfortunately enough though, the board was fried when I got it. Just tested it and it doesn't power up. Someone can close this.
