General N64 Questions

Simple rule mate, get battery(s) 7.2v - 8v with as much mAh as you can get. Someone worked it out a while back for me, 8800mAh (8.8amps) will last about 5.5 hours or so; if you want 3 hours, you need about 6000mAh or thereabouts. This of course will also depend on the thickness of the battery in question.

The screen would work, but I've heard nothing but bad about Intec screens.

That battery is powerful enough, but I don't know how you could safely charge it.

OK if I were to be selling a 7" lcd screen with RCA jacks ready to go for $30+S&H would anyone buy??

As for the battery I think It has a AC input port

I actually just got a PSONE screen (not the usually kind, though) for $10, shipping included. it was sort of a "I just want a frickin' screen!" purchase, as my friends and I have had a project on our minds since last summer, but screens were just too expensive. This screen's quite small for our purposes, but at this point we just want to get it done (and I want to be able to use my NES again).

If I had seen this offer before purchasing the screen, I may have had to take it, 7 inches compared to 5 inches is basically 200% the screen area.

That's what I mean - in the UK you pay about Â£26-Â£30 for a PSone screen on auction on e-bay or Â£38 for buy it now - you paid about 20% the price. PAL is far more expensive, smaller market I suppose.

we actually jumped on it because it was a great deal. I had never seen them so low.

Yeah I found it really hard to find a cheap PSone screen. However it is worth waiting - after a few weeks I managed to snatch up a screen for Â£19.49 including P&P! May not sound amazing to those in America or wherever, but it's very cheap for Britland

woot.
well the 7 inchers I was gonna buy shot up to around $140 usd Each.
But.... I found a good deal on a ps1 screen and It's already at the house.
The last component to buy will be the battery. I;m making my own case.

Also: I'll be starting a new thread on me building the n64p ,which currently doesn't have a name,"M64" maybe? micro 64. sounds pretty ballin' to me.

any suggestions on batterys would be great. thanks
