I am looking for a program that will let me record what is shown on my monitor. I would prefer something free but a small amount of money is fine. I want to be able to record full screen and also record audio with it.

Completely free, reliable, and they give you a compression codec that doesn't have visual degradation. (If MP4 is JPEG, their format is PNG.)
