Did you map the buttons to the buttons on the front? Because on my x30 whenever I try to play PocketSNES, there's a tiny little delay when I press the buttons. Not big enough to be impossible to play, but Super Mario World gets a little tricky when trying to time my jumps right.

Any suggestions?

Oh, forgot to say, I really like what you did with this and I'd like to do something like it.

There should be no difference in delay by rigging wires to the controller.

Couldn't there technically be a delay caused if there's enough extra distance the signal has to travel (not that there's any way that it would be noticeable at the length of wiring used for this kind of mod)

No, the x30s just do that. (Mine does.)

It's just barely enough to notice, without causing a huge most games. (The exception being, of course, platformers.)
