Just picked one up for a friend's birthday. Don't know which friend yet, but I'm sure there's plenty of friends with birthdays this summer.
It's actually more of a tradition, really. I normally always have a new gadget to mess around with the first week of summer, (2 years ago it was GP2x, last year it was a hacked PSP, etc.) and since the Pandora is a bit too far off to make my tradition, I figured this would fill the void nicely. The plan is to load it up with a skinned firmware, tons of games and emulators, a few movies, and then give it to whoever. The reason I post this is because I'm probably going to be doing a review on it. Also, I was interested on what to expect, as I know some here have players of the same caliber, like the JXD 301 and Gemei X590. The SmartQ T5-II has a bit more torque, with a 600MHz processor as well as a Wolfenson chip for dedicated audio, but with the exception of now-compatible GBA emulation, there's little difference.
