I got one.
Good Symptoms:
green Light is on
Accepts disks
blue lights flash like normal when started up
blue lights flash like normal when accepting disks
Disk laser moves like reading disk
disc spins like normal
chips get worm like normal(through heasink)
Bad Symptoms:
On screen: goes from blank(no video signal) to black(video signal but all black)
Wiimotes do not connect
Audio does not start
will not turn off when power switch pressed normally(must hold and light goes red)
when turned on w/o disk, any disk put in does not spin, no laser activity(still accepts disks)
Ok, the only thing i could think of that could have caused this would be that I triede to completly kill the battery by powering it up untill it would not power up anymore, and light stayed read with no response to pressing power button.
While I wait for a fix, should I leave it on in red light mode over night or keep it unplugged?

ummm, I made it into a laptop? 
The only soldering I did to it was relocating the four front buttons and power input port. -edit- And I got the 6 needed wires for the sensor bar + composite for the screen.
The lady at nintendo said my video card was dead, but the wii doesnt have one?

actually, thinking back, you have your wii hooked up to a bunch of batteries, right? didn't you recently try to charge them or something? is it possible it fried from the batteries/charging them?
Well, have you heard about the WiiConnect24 syndrome? Where when people left WC24 on all the time, their GPUs fried. Nintendo replaced them for free though. Good luck with them sending you a new lappy one though.ShockSlayer wrote:Although I have no idea how.
