I want a screwdriver... That way I can reatach them. I'm going to use the SNES screws for this.

Use that method, and you'd also be able to reattach them.

In all seriousness, you've been begging for a cheap screwdriver for over a month. No one has one, but we've pointed out plenty of other options. Either go for it, or shut up.

did anyone mention the melted pen trick in this thread? I scanned over it and didn't see it.

anyways, in order to get nintendo stuff open (well etorx/gamebit screws), I use a cheap clear-plastic bic pen. what you do is open up the pen and take out the ink cartridge. from there, you find the end of the outer plastic shell that had the point coming out of it and melt it down a bit. enough so its liquidy, but you don't want it to get too black. once its all nice and liquidy, jam it into the screw-hole of you SNES cartridge where the screw is that you wish to remove. let it sit for a little while to harden a bit before you pull it out. when you do pull it out, you will have a nicely molded etorx screwdriver. At that point, I prefer to stick it in a cup of ice-water to ensure that it hardens nicely before I try to put pressure on it. after you pull it out of the ice water and dry it off, you're ready to start removing screws.

I did it with a couple gameboy games to replace the batteries inside and it worked just fine. however, I tried this on my SNES, but the screws were in there too tight and the teeth kept snapping off. So its not a guaruntee that it'll work, but i think for something like a cartridge, it probably should work. oh, and these are really really temporary. don't expect to use one dozens of times.

My dad noticed that their hexagonal shape is just perfect for sticking in a hex-screwdriver. so if you have a hex screwdriver, you could try using the pen as a bit.

never thought of that though, I'll take a look if my dad has a hex screwdriver and get some pens, I'm trying to open up my pal SNES but the screws are to tight I tried it with another bic pen one with a small clip (which works perfect as a handle) but it didn't seem to work.

as I said earlier, I also tried to open an SNES with it and it didn't work for me either. The screws are too tight and just break the teeth of the "screwdriver". but I think for a game cartridge it should work; it did work on my gameboy games.
