StarCraft 2... when is it coming out, again?

We don't have a release date yet, do we? I haven't been following the scene, so I don't know if there are any rumors or whatever floating around about when it might bless us all with it's awesomeness. (It looks like it's going to be amazing, doesn't it?

)

I've been playing StarCraft recently... I forgot how awesome it was. I never finished the campaign mode; I couldn't get past one of the later Protoss missions, if I remember correctly.

I started over though... I'm nearing the end of the Zerg chapter now.

Another question: Is the Brood Wars expansion every bit as good as people keep saying? What's different about it besides new missions? I actually only have the original game... *cough*

I am proud to say that I DID legally purchase it, though.

I hear StarCraft 2 is supposed to pick up where Broodwars left off, plot-wise. I should probably play through that soon.

Edit: EB says 12/3/2008. Anyone heard anything different?

Brood war throws in 6 new units.

It makes the multilayer a lot more complicated in my opinion, it makes it a lot easier for experienced people to kick your ass.

I prefer original.

I never played star craft, warcraft 2 was good. I *WAS* more of a C&C guy till EA came in and copulate everything up.

If your good at Starcraft, then yeah buy Brood War it's epic. The second episode trilogy on Brood War is worth playing through

Yeah, and if you thought Protoss was tough, wait till you get to Zerg on Brood War.
