Don't worry about hi-def. On really small screens it doesn't make much of a difference, and if you're talking about a PS2 you're wasting your time. (I think the only 1080i capable PS2 game is GT4. Maybe there are a few more.)
16:4? That's about half of the typical widescreen aspect ratio, isn't it? (16:9) It would look something like this:

It would be helpful if you told us what it is you're trying to make...
EDIT: Also, could you please use the shift key? It won't bite...

oh hehe yeah just average wide screen thats a lil to wide thanks for corection.but i cant reveal what im makeing yet. but the thing is my device out puts in high def only so i either need a small converter that will fit in a ps2 slim to go from component to composite or a screen that is known to be able to accept the signal like a dvd player that someone knew where the pin outs are to do so. i can get a ps2 wide screen display for cheap so i was hopeing that someone knew a small converter to convert componenet to composite but from the looks of it seems like ill have to fork up 300 bucks for a lcd that accepts high def but i really dont want to so plz any ideas?
