I got my xbox modded in iraq an it wont let me FTP. I want to install more emulaotrs. I have an auto installer, but when i isatll the emulator the xbox can not find it. I think is do to the menu that having been alter. I know if I use my auto installer an reformat the xbox it should work. But I wont know if I could FTP. But before I do this, I was wondering does anyone know how to install an emulator and gamess on a disc so a mod xbox can read it? SO you will be playing of the disc. I have found an iso file that was done by someone but know how to out there.

You should realy post this at xbox scene. If you want to use emulators off the hdd then you need to make sure the config file for your dashboard has the emulator path pointing to where you put the emulators.

Eg. If you put the emulators in E:\emulators. You have to find the entry in your config file that says emulators and change its path to that.

Your dashboard should have an "applications" menu option. There should also be an "applications" folder on the xbox somewhere depending on what dashboard you have - usually E:\applications. If there is a folder in the apps folder that has an emulator in it, then you should see it in the apps list when you select applications. Put your emulators in the apps folder and see if it works that way.
