Hmm... not bad sorry. Your sound is a little TOO tried and tested with not much boundary outside of basically Rock/Alternative. You should try out some more techinical and break song boundaries, just basically experiment with different styles of music.

What instrument to you play? I think the songs would sound a lot cooler if there was a little more single note picking on the guitar and not quite so many power chords or maybe some single note picking on top of the power chords.

Edit: WOW, I didn't see this topic was so old. Nice stuff either way though.

Well whoever Annie Frankenstein is bumped this from quite awhile ago... I play bass, to answer your question Neildo. Negative Creep, I do agree with you there. We have been experimenting with a lot of different sounds and instrumentation, we just haven't gotten around to recording it yet... So I'll keep you posted on that.

i'm not a WHOEVER I am helping you promote you band Voluntarily i might add, i am NOT getting paid to promo your band i do it becus i actually like you guys and want you to do well, also i "BUMPED" it from a while ago becus you hadn't login in since 2006 when your band started & there were no new posts from you so i had no choice,
also i had to join to tell one of you at least about your first website & accounts & the Poster that Rokky Amez Made You Guys On Bebo which i have put on your accounts, i set up for you guys to update when you please & you should talk to the rest of you band mates they maybe able to fill you in becus they sent me an email over the weekend telling me what has been going on with Solstice & why they havent been able to reply to my emails as Lori is usually the one who check the emails & band stuff & becus of legal reason i still want answer to that one.

Solstice Should Update there promo pics when Lori gets back

i am glad you guys finally got the messages & are taking things in because it's hard work trying to get hold of a band that doesn't login as often as they should be able too also i am glad solstice added me to my space you are on my top friends just like mz ann thropik My First PROMO BAND from Australia

you should be more appreciative of what fans/human beings are doing for bands like you ^_^

i hope we can continue talking/updating/emailing in the NEAR FUTURE!

Amy's Voice/Lori Lee/Solstice/Ev Concept Video Ideas!

I don't really know her that well, she's more of an "acquaintance". She went to the same high school as me (yearbook pics to prove it! 8)), so I know her from that. Their voices are extremely similar, Amy's seems to be naturally a bit higher, but they seem to have about the same range. If they sang the same song, it would be very difficult to discern the difference!
Amy Has her Voice naturally & Wind Up Sent her To Performance School
like YOUR LABEL SHOULD when you guys get signed

why didn't you just go to wind up & say we wanna try some recording they will probably let you as lori has recorded on call me when your sober which sounded awesome but i soon got bored of it

my favourite song on the open door is Lithium & also Like You
my favourite song on Fallen is: Hello becus it's shrouded in mystery or supposed to be i think it's sad that they never made a professional video for it & i think it's odd how amy can perform it at home & in the studio but she can't perform it on stage is it gonna be the same for the song Like You as well?!

i have a concept idea for the Hello song i came up with it in 2003 & did a few stick drawrings in a small book so i wouldn't forget it, i have a drawring & idea for every song on that album not so much the open door becus thats pretty much self explanitory except i had one for the lyrics to something about ashes i will get the hello concept idea on my next post & also a girl who looks more like Amy's sister she's called Holly and she has stunning eyes like AMY LEE!

Hello Concept Video Idea!

Post by Annie Frankenstein »

Hello - Concept Video Idea

Amy Lee in a BLACK dress

against a STORMY background, rain washed (church like) school to her right, looking wistfully towards the playground children are playing, in the center of a few gathered children a small girl lies, raindrops running like tears across her lifeless body.

The school bell rings, children running inside now gazing through the dusted rain soaked windows, Amy now drenched walks toward her sister, camera's rest on her face (Bonnie's face) looking down, Amy brushes her hand lightly over the body slowly turns and walks away as camera's capture the edges of Bonnie's face at the bottom of the screen as Amy Lee jogs away in th distance, the pan's in on Bonnie's rain soaked face (a birdseye view of the playground) or (flash backs of Little Amy Lee n Bonnie together)

(Contrast b/w or vague color)

idea's to cotinue this idea are welcome

EDIT:
Solstice is:
Lori Lee- Lead vocals and piano
Dylan Bulloch- Lead guitar
Rohit Mittal- Drums
Scott Weiss- Bass
AMI LEE ANYBODY????
Well that may be because that's her older sister...

And by the way, the quality of the recordings doesn't do her voice any justice at all. Once we get some studio recordings up, you'll see what I mean. I like her voice better than Amy's, personally.
Annie Frankenstein, thanks for bumping an ancient topic and turning it into a spammy crapfest. Nice. Chill on the post button, would 'ya?

Locked.

Edit by Skyone: it was only 9 days old man, but yeah I agree. :P

Edit by bic: No, Annie Frankenstein posted in it after a few months (November '07 to June '08 is a big jump, especially since it's just spam.
