Well, lo and behold, Polaroid apparently doesn't recognize this drive's existence. (Sheesh, it's just five friggin' years old, AT MOST...) So not only can I not order the power supply from them, apparently, I can't even figure out what the hell I'm looking for. So how easy would it be to replace the jack with something semi-standard? The problem is that it apparently needs to provide 5V and 12V. The jack kind of looks like an S-Video jack, but not exactly. I'm also guessing it'd be impossible to provide enough power over USB (and that'd only be 5V, probably no room for a transformer either).
EDIT: Looking at the bottom, I need 5V at 1.4A and 12V at 1.3A. So would it be doable to come up with some four-pronged jack (the other two lines in a bog-standard ATX power supply, don't'cha know), find a couple of AC adaptors that would provide the needed voltages and amperages, stick 'em in a box and wire them to one input, with the needed outputs going out?
