GBA Original screen size?

I would like to know the EXACT size of a game boy advanced original screen.

L + W + H

Then I need to know where I can get custom cut plexiglass, and square LED's that are super thin. (also low power usage on the LED)

Then I will make my GBA back lit and you all will praise me.

Doesn't back lighting on a GBA cause the colors to be washed out or something?

Because the original GBA screens don't like being backlit. If you pass light through them, you can barely tell there's an image on them.

The original GBA SPs basically have the same thing; that's why the screen looks 'milky' with the light enabled. The "brighter screen" SPs have a completely different screen, possibly one similar to a DS screen. (I don't think they're interchangeable.)

You could try hacking a 'brighter' SP screen into the original GBA, I suppose.
