Worlds deadlist roman virus? Huh?

Hey guys. Today a teacher told me about a virus that makes your skin go inside out. It was in roman times or something, and also was featured in an episode of the simspons.

Its like neonicosis, or something. Can someone tell me the proper name/spelling of this? (Its for an assignment)

Neo. Its from the episode of the simpsons where at the end, barts in bed and some crazy gas comes in through the window and all there skin turns inside out.

Closest thing that comes to mind is harlequin ichthyosis. Disturbing imagery after the click.
