All I can say is Kurt_ WTF? and HD-C I also have to agree with you in saying this is the best forum and one of the most polite and intellectual ones I go to. I would definitely say that a benheckless life would be awful, I've sampled it and won't go back.

No other forum I've gone to is as good as this one. I've been to some other tech-related forums that had some mods and other high up people that were completely clueless about everything and couldn't even be spoon-fed. Overall, most members here are fairly intelligent.

And yeah, I love it here, too. Sure, it's had some ups and downs, but I can't think of a single member here who I don't like, and even ones I have severe disagreements with I can still respect. From an intelligence standpoint, I'd say this is a great place to be if you don't like incompetence, not to mention the fact that I sincerely think that we've got the best hardware modders on the planet right here. I've really enjoyed the whole ride, from coming here as a n00b to get a simple question answered on my first portable, getting involved in the community, making some good friends (even a couple best friends - you guys know who you are

), and heck, even becoming a Moderator. These are the only forums that I visit regularly and the only ones that can even attempt to hold my attention. Needless to say, I'll be around for a while!

Me too. And, I'll be the first one to say that I have been incompetent here. However, I believe that many of the experiences and members(regulars and vetrans) here have matured me greatly.

I feel that whenever I talk/debate about VG related stuff, I always get my opinions/facts from here.

Ugh I hear 'ya, for about 6 months a search for "Genesis Portable" would come up with the thread for my build log. Great for the cool factor, suckage when trying to find information.
