My friend and i are building a PSONE laptop. This is our first time modding a game system. We have made some cool things as far electronic things go, but we want to do something cheaper, such as a PS1 Laptop, instead of a PS3 laptop. The only problem we are facing right now is power. What do you recommend for batteries?
All help is appreciated.

I remember in Ben's book (what I read of it, before the library made me take it back) he mentioned a battery that would work with a PS1 and PS1 screen without modding (it was a Sony battery, I believe for a camcorder or something like that), so you might want to look into that if you have a chance to look at his book.
Or someone else could look at it or something.
That's about as much help as I can give, sorry.

It's a Sony InfoLithium. Great batteries. I've got four or five myself. They run pretty cheap on e-Bay. Link I saw the chargers on there too, for about $10 shipped.
Make sure you're getting the 7.2 Volt, though. The PSScreen can handle that just fine. The 3 volts are too weak.
