Get paid to make video reviews of products that you use!

Post by khaag »

So I'm not sure how well recieved this will be, and I'm not sure if you guys will take it as being against the rules or not, but I'll post it anyways. If a mod wants to lock it, that's fine I suppose.

Anyway, I found this site quite a while ago and its really nice! You make a video review of any product that you use, submit it to the site, and if its a quality review, you get paid $10 for it! They've changed the rules since I started (it used to be that you get paid $5 for every review you upload, but now they only take quality ones and pay you $10). They pay out once a month via Paypal, and its all totally legit. Also, you get paid $0.01 or every view your video reviews get.

Here's how much I've made at the site:

So, get to it! Its a great, easy way to make a few bucks. You can submit up to 20 videos a month. If you submit 20 quality vids, thats $200 bucks in your pocket, tax free!

Here's the link (it is a referall, but that seems fair since I am referring you ;) )

Have you actually recieved a real payment yet? I mean , into your paypal that you can spend on actual goods.

Seems slightly more legit than most sites , with the having to really review something rather than filling out a survey with fake details :P .

Hmmm, sounds interesting enough. I'll give it a try! :P

Any chance you could post a link to one of your videos that was deemed "quality"? I'd like to see exactly what they're looking for, as would others here, I'm sure. Plus its a penny for you!

How long does it have to be?
Do I need a video camera? Or can I just take stock footage and do some voice over?

Mine are :P

@Dr. Killgood: It depends what you are reviewing. If you are reviewing a movie you can do what I do and use the preview as footage. But if you are reviewing some sort of product, you must demonstrate its features and actually show yourself using it and talking about it on video. Also, if you are reviewing a game, they require you to include in-game footage.

You never get something for nothing - what financial benefit does that site get to pay people to post reviews that makes it worth their while to pay out??

It's all about advertising. The videos are littered with that kind of stuff, not to mention they probably get a good chunk of change from a number of companies who make the products being reviewed. It's not something for nothing, it's just captialism. Yay, capitalism! :D
