i bought a max controller to hackup for my NESp and I cant find anything on it. Anybody got any pinouts pics or diagrams thoughts whatever you think can help me getting it running

I'd ASSUME that it's a standard NES pad, as far as the chip pinout goes, and what, the turbo buttons go through a frequency divider so they're only active every X number of clock pulse?

The M4021BP is an 8 bit shift register, basically the main chip for the controller. I forget if this is the same chip as what is in the default NES pad. Still, it takes parallel input from the buttons, and shoots everything out to the NES serially, SOP for NES gamepads.

Well, you're already getting a clock pulse from the NES, so you could just use a cheap flip flop IC to halve the pulse rate... which would make the NES see the button as being pressed every other clock pulse.
