Spielberg doesn't have anything to do with Star Wars. That is Lucas' baby.Kenny_McCormic wrote:Lucas/spielberg need t be shot, anybody wanna help? George Lucas has a new theatrical Star Wars film in the works. Take a look: http://www.starwars.com/theclonewars/ne ... ement.html
I really don't have a problem with this new animated Clone Wars movie. I enjoyed the two DVDs of the animated shorts that were put out previously. From what I've read, the same people are handling the movie so it should be a good time. Actually, the animated shorts were closer in spirit to the original trilogy than the prequels so, if anything, people should be excited about this upcoming release.
As far as puppet vs. CG Yoda is concerned. I agree that the puppet in Phantom Menace looked like crap. I would actually support Lucas going back and putting the CG Yoda from the later prequels into that one in place of the puppet.
The old puppet from Empire and Jedi is awesome though. That said, there is no way they could have used a puppet for the last two prequels given the two lightsaber battles that Yoda was involved in. I actually like the CG Yoda as well. Thought they did a good job on him.
