what os's can be on ps2?

is it possible for any version of windows to be on a ps2? like maybe a guest os through linyx? im prolly just stupid... lay it on me easy....

The only OS that can be put on is Linux. (If I recall)

Now, you can do it officially by, buying the PS2 Linux Disc.

Or do it homebrew way by reading a tutorial on the net.

Don't waste your time running an OS of any sort on the PS2. It doesn't have a fast processor and I don't think the Linux thing for it takes advantage of the GPU.

And no, Windows won't run on it natively. Windows is designed for IBM compatible x86 machines. The PS2 is not based on that architecture. Even as a guest OS under Linux it would be bloody slow.
