Yes, plexi will work, just be carefull to shield your eyes if you dremel it, plexi shoots stuff everywere when you cut it

I suggest using a hot x-acto knife, if you like having eye-sight

I can use my vertical saw. I also have full eye safety goggles.

Also, when your cutting plexi, it helps to put a strip of tape along the line you're cutting, because the plexi chips and the tape helps you get a cleaner edge. Also, use blades with very fine teeth. Big teeth will destroy your edge and throw sharp chips everywhere. Go slow, almost like your melting through it.

Does anyone know the awnser to my first question?

"I don't really want to dish out like $100+ for the rare and hard to find Dreamcast Ethernet Adapter. Now, since the Dreamcast has a built in 56k Modem/Telephone Modem, here comes my question. Do they make wireless adapters for a 56k? (So instead of tieing up the phoneline when I want online, I could just use my routers wifi. Wifi is ethernet. Basically I'm asking, if I can get a 56k Wifi adapter and stick it in the dreamcast and have wireless internet, Instead of using a 56k cable and running it to a modem.)"

No don't think they ever made a wireless on but with 80 bucks you can make your own.

This is king of funny because I have been working on a laptop for 2 years not ( DC laptop) but had to quit because of the lack of funding ( quit my job) may start up on it again

You should make the disk drive, like a PC drive. I mounted the parts to an old PS2 DVD drive last night, and it actually works. You have to hold the door switch closed, and it screws up a lot, because the parts are only taped on, since I had no hotglue to mess with it.

The way the disk drive works on a PS2 is easy, the laser assembly is all on a metal peice. The drive drawer itself when it moves, it just tilts the metal peice down for the disk to come out. I suggest you try it out, if you have a spare drive. I'd get a pic but I have no camera.

Probably don't belive me since I have no proof, but it really works. You just need to mount the DC laser parts into when the DVD drive parts were.

If you arn't gonna do it, screw my Genesis portable, I'll be making a laptop.

Update: I sent the cash out via mail to the person whos gonna send me the VGA box. It should be here but next week sometime. If it works on my 17inch then I'll the 17inch as my screen. If not, I'll try it on my 15inch.

I'm going with a standard laptop folding design. The controller may not be built in. Yet if it is, its going to be able to be taken out.

Update: The poster is sending out the VGA box tonight with next day shipping. Meaning I should get it tomorrow, or thursday.
