Wegenermedia.com?

Post by Bibin »

So I'm looking to buy a cheap MacBook Pro, and wegenermedia.com has some great deals on used ones. I'm not sure how legit they are; my friend has ordered stuff from them and had no trouble, but I just want to make sure nobody has had bad problems with them I should know about.

Scroll down, on the left there should be a link to their reburb section. All their refurbished units come with a 1 year warranty, and they're priced about 35% off retail.

yes i bought my 13.3" Macbook refurb from the apple site and saved about $300. IMO buying a refurb from the manufacturer is much safer(especially with a 1 year warranty) than saving the added $200-300 on a site that may or may not work correctly. apple is expensive but you get what you pay for

+1 for Apple refurbished store. My friend (jdmlight) bought his 4G iPod and his MacBook Pro from there, and they've had no problems at all AFAIK. Also, my only experience with Apple support (dudes at the Apple store) was very positive.
