I totally want one, but they are sold out till god knows when. See I wanna take one of them, and a NES connector/SNES connector and make a NES/SNES adapter for USB. That way I only need one adapter and one retrokit!

So does anybody have one laying around they got but never got around to installing?

Also a NES and SNES port.

That one looks more complicated, or can you just buy the complete chip on the board?

AFAIK retrousb just uses one of the midrange PIC series that is capable of low rate USB. The controller decoder code for the PIC is easy (I have some even), but the USB HID device code isn't very fun, glad they have libraries and examples :P

Does it have to be USB? I built a 5-player SNES-Parallel adaptor, you can find instructions to do it yourself online.

He basically said that to code the button presses is easy, but to make it recognizable [by a pc as a usb hub] is the really hard part.

yeah, when I was looking to make a snes-pc adapter, i looked into the USB option, but I found that you need to either buy a prebuilt board, or you would need to buy a programmer in order to program the USB chip. or something along those lines.
