1. Is your WiFi switch set to OFF?

2. Is your memstick formatted to FAT 32 and not NTFS?

how do I determine if my mem stick is formatted to FAT 32 or NTFS?

edit: yea, my memstick is formatted to FAT32.

I'm trying another method atm, but that doesn't seem to be working as well =/. BTW, I got my PSP in Hong Kong, so its kinda different. For example, in the main menu I need to press [circle] instead of [X] to select things, and [X] is cancel. Does the fact that my psp is from asia effect this process?

yea! I don't know why, but I switched computers and remade my magic memory card on another computer. It had Windows XP, and mine had Vista. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with with operating system or if my computer was being screwy, but it worked!

Vista? I had problems with that, what I did is....

Yea i opened up my battery to start the process (model 110) and it doesn't have that massive board across the whole thing. Only a small board on top of the lipo pack. Maybe i just have a old battery?

I can answer this. Sony realized what people were doing to the batterys so they changed the insides. I read it online somewhere.

even though it is a different board it should still be the same chip number and pin you have to lift. Look here http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/ and you should be able to find a tutorial on how to mod that battery.

lmao!! i totally just got so lucky. I made my pandora (thank you xtrmgam3r360 for the links) i then followed the procedure. But when i put my battery in my psp turned on with the first message and then went blank. I left it there for like 45 sec, fiddled with it a bit to get it to turn on and checked my firmware. 3.90 M33!!

now i just gotta figure out all the cool features and how to use them
