How do you led mod a 2.5 inch zate lcd screen?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Hi I was wondering how to led mod this screen so that it can run off of a 7.2v battery and make it use less energy

"Zate" is a bit of an off-brand. You may be on your own a bit for this one. As long as you understand what you're doing it shouldn't be that hard.

Will it run off 7.2v now? What are it's current power requirements? If it wants 9v you're out-of-luck. If it wants 5v then you can regulate the voltage down to an acceptable value.

It's already lit by LEDs. May I refer you to this thread?
