NOOOO my portable stoped working

so i just got it working like 2 days ago and was playing mario kart. then i wanted to try some other games that i got off of ebay to make sure they work. so i put in zelda and it didnt work. then i threw in mariokart again and it didnt work. when i turn on my power supply it is showing under 5 volts and a LOT of current but if i take the game out then it jumps up to where it should be and the screen starts working.

SOMEONE HELP PLZ

Well, the easiest thing is to just check your wires. If it worked for two days and then stopped, then I guarantee you that something came loose.

it was working like a half hour ago then i switched games and stopped, everything works untill i put a game in then the voltage dropped, i am reconnecting stuff right now and nothing is helping. could i have fried the board while switching games??

i had that same problem when i had my portable under construction, switching games without the cartridge slot mounted. it made some of the slot pins come loose and had to reconnect a few and it worked fine. so if you relocated your cart slot check the wiring. other than that did you put electrical tape on all your loose ends before switching the games? an exposed wire form your power supply could have shorted the system. not sure what phase your in though
