newbie question about genesis controllers

Post by newguy101 »

one of my friends had seen the Suportable Ninentdo i made and wanted me to make them a genesis portable. i never was a big fan of genesis and rarely played on the system. i was wandering about the 3 and 6 button controllers. are the 6 button controllers just multi buttons for the same action or are they legit buttons that are needed to play some of the games? need to know which button style to add to the portable, thanks.

also ive seen that the radica system is a popular choice for a genesis portable as it is tiny. but i would need a cart slot as well as a controller port for a 2p controller add-on. any1 got extra parts up for grabs or how hard are they to find

XYZ on the 6-button controller are not too commonly used, mainly just in fighting games. Also, you cannot add a P2 controller port to the Radica.

If you get the Street Fighter Radica, then you can. It has 2P built in.
