Pay to Read or Pay to Click= Good or Bad?

Post by tyromaniac »

I'm sorry if this breaks some rules...please delete it if it does, I just thought that I'd mention it here and ask other people about Pay to Click/ Pay to Read sites.

I recently got into this site called Bux.to and I guess it's legit. The only problem is transaction time from what people have been telling me. The website has a master card credit card associated with it, so I guess that helps with its legit-ness.

Anyway, I'm wondering if any of you have used these sites and how successful or how unsuccessful you have been.

I'll put the link here for you to be my ref if you are interested in the site I am currently using at all. http://bux.to/?r=tyromaniac

I figure I can't lose anything. No money needed anytime :P

Once again, if you find that this violates any terms or rules, which I read and still find this to perhaps being borderline, please remove it.

I've tried an awful lot of those websites in my efforts to get cash for doing nothing. Very few have paid out , however.

In my experiences , "Cashninjas" has been good to me. I did a ton of surveys and cashed out , but nothing appeared a long time in my paypal. Then recently they send me the cash in full, perhaps they send it out quarterly.

Also , the search engine "zotspot" paid out for me , but I gave up on it when I was doing it so it was only like $0.50. I ended up not taking the cash and using the option to give it charity.

That's nice of you donate to charity even though it wasn't much. I'll look into that if I ever make enough someday :D

I've done a couple pay to click websites. Really isn't worth it because they pay less then a 1 cent per click on most things. And the pay out was a minimum of $10. So even if you were to get 1 cent on every click thats, 10.00 / .01 = 1,000 clicks and seeing as how each one paid less than that, that means 1,000+ clicks to get $10. They also only allowed about a maximum of 10 clicks a day so in 100 days I could get $10. And to show you how much time would be wasted doing that, lets say each click you had to sit at their website for 30 Seconds. So 1,000 clicks x 30 Seconds each = 30,000 Seconds used to get 10 dollars. 30,000 seconds / 60 seconds in a minute = 500 minutes / 60 minutes in an hour = 8.33 hours. Putting in the same amount of time at a job that pays $7 an hour would give you $58.31. Much more worth your time to just get a job or work extra hours.

or......using this equation I created...

(X referrals) times (Y days) times .1 + (Y days) times .1 times = X dollars per Y days per X referrals

if you have 41 refs....
(6 refs (my current amount) + 35 refs (the amount I want to have plus my original) times X days times .1 + x days times .1= 20 dollars

result = 20 dollars every 5 days, assuming everyone clicks
the site you told me about only expressed how you as a single person clicked. In my example, referrals lead to a much greater amount of income.

Also, I do have a job, and this is not a supplement. Instead, it is a little side cash for my buds and myself when we want to hang out.

Yeah referrals definitely help to get you more money. In my opinion and for me it wasn't worth my time. But if you could get a lot of referrals it could be worth it.

Understood. Thanks for your input. I guess I'll continue trying it out and see if anything becomes of it.
