1st Project

I`m starting a my first project. The NES I currently have doesn`t work and for that reason i`m simply testing on it. I wanted to know how can I shrink it more then just removing the Gray/Shining parts on each side of the main board?

If the NES flashes on your display or blinks, you can fix that, system is not dead, apparently

Actualy I'm not really sure whats broken on it. I can run games but I can't move properly with the controller. When I press up or A in Mario it either jumps, go's backward or doesn't do anything.

Try a different controller, or try cleaning the cartridge. cartridge slot and Controller Input slot.
