WTB X-Box Laptop

I would like to buy/commission for an X-box laptop please include estimates.

would take a lot of effort, and expensive parts (small powersupply, large LCD xbox etc) could be done but expect to pay ~1000$ thats about what i would charge

pertybug, you had better give more exact requirements than that. I could throw a screen on top of a regular xbox, call it a laptop, and be done. I doubt that's what you want.

As someone who's currently building an xbox laptop (for myself) I can tell you there are a BUNCH of variables. When you say "laptop" are you thinking battery powered (whoa boy)? How large a screen (size, resolution)? What should the case be made from (aluminum, plastic, frankensteined with bondo, gold-plated, briefcase)? Should it have all original components or do you want a larger hard drive/no DVD/mod-chip? Do you want keyboard/touchpad/trackball? Speakers? Headphone jack?

Just to undercut Triton, I'll say to expect to pay ~$999 for one.

Don't feel bad... lots of people make the mistake of underestimating what goes into a portable.
