gamecube P audio Issue

Post by jeffslot »

Hi guys,

I've started a gamecube portable this weekend. I'm having a bit of trouble getting audio, do you have any ideas? I bridged the 3 headphone pins on the back of the psone screen. I also removed the little plug & soldered directly to the pads.

Currently I don't plan on adding batteries to this portable - so I guess it isn't going to be a true portable. It just isn't in the budget for now.

Also what do you think would be a logical easy next step? Thanks.

Well I did a tiny bit of work on this project - while I'm waiting to see if I can get some help on my audio issue.

Updated my audio/video wires to go to the back of the psone screen instead of the plug & connect to the botton of the AV plug instead of using the av plug.

Are both 7805 ICs supplying 5v by chance?

Hi,

Well I actually figured it out by myself:
It's something that was actually visible in the 1st photo I posted. I had soldered the speaker to the wrong big solder spots, when I needed to get the smaller little spots. I have sound out of one speaker!

Of course I need to somehow come up with another speaker - of course I can't find one.

Thanks.
