So anyway, metroid does not work. Sound but video never works properly. Cleaned it with alcohol and all that nothing.

I could probably use it for something. Want to donate to an early learning modder?

Metroid is a classic. preserve it. Frame it, perhaps.

Well it has marker on the front of it.

Also is the gray labeled one with 8-bit samus rare? When I got it it said "Rare gray label" lol .06 cents.

I honestly don't believe there is any other version than grey label with 8-bit samus (that's the one I have).

So I'm gonna go with a "No" on the rare front.

I've been wanting to stuff a Game Boy Pocket in an NES cart for a while (why the hell not? I figure), so that could be a candidate for that job, so I might be interested in it.

Wait.... This is the rare version? I can't seem to find or picture (in my head) this other 8 bit one you guys are talking about- I only have the yellow label version you've posted.

the yellow version is the rerelease. it's not exactly rare, just rarer than the original release:

I don't know how much I'd pay for it.

How much would shipping be?

I'd be reluctant to pay all that much for it, cause I could probably just go to a used game store and buy one of their dozens of Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt carts for like $1.

I dunno maybe I will do something with it myself, putting a game boy pocket in it sounds fun. =P

Maybe a game boy color.
