Help, CS:S

Basically, CS:S works on my laptop, but is horribly too slow. The settings are not on the lowest, but when I try to change the video settings, CS:S crashes.

I took at look at the configuration files, and can't for the life of me find out which settings in the files themselves to change.

So I'm hoping someone can set all their video/audio settings to the lowest possible and send me the correct file/files over. I believe them to be in the D:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\kurtbert\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg folder or equivalent.

What's your laptop's video chipset?

My HP has an ATI Mobility Radeon m200 or something like that, and it can only run Portal if I force it to use DX 8 mode. Maybe that's the problem with yours?

Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME, I think.
